The U.S. Postal Service, in collaboration with
La Poste of France, is celebrating Edith Piaf and Miles Davis with the issuance of new “Forever” stamps.   Miles Davis is a legendary American composer, bandleader & trumpeter who often performed in France.  He was awarded the Grande Medaille de Vermeile by the City of Paris—- the equivalent of making him an honorary citizen.
