The Picasso of jazz!

Miles Davis, often referred to as the “Picasso of Jazz,” was a legendary American composer, bandleader & trumpeter who often performed throughout the United States and globally (often in France, as well as in many other countries across the globe). The City of Paris (in France) awarded him the Grande Medaille de Vermeile—the equivalent of making him an honorary citizen.

Miles Davis was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century! Check out the video interviews in our Shop with some of the music legends who worked with and inspired Miles Davis.
